| Get Involved Make the most of your DONA International membership A great way to gain more from your DONA International membership is to become involved. DONA International is a volunteer-led organization and your involvement is crucial to our ongoing success. Volunteering with DONA International also reaps big rewards for you, through networking and educational opportunities. One way is to participate in the annual DONA International Conference. You will meet other doulas from around the globe, as well as learn valuable information that will help you with your doula practice. You may opt to be one of the many volunteers who help make the conference a success. You may also seek committee membership or pursue a position as a state/provincial/area representative (SPAR). Current Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you want to volunteer a little or a lot, there is an important role for you at DONA International. As always, incumbents may reapply to continue service on the Board of Directors or in a committee position. For those of you who are considering applying for the first time, or if you feel hesitant to apply because there may be an incumbent, please do apply. It is a great experience to apply and no one will be offended that you expressed an interest in becoming a part of the DONA International leadership.
Please read the application requirements and process information before submitting your materials.
